My ADDI Meeting on Burkina Faso Citizenship - afr-001
We had an excellent meeting today, with well over 500 people in attendance. Everyone from the diaspora was eager to learn about the process of obtaining citizenship in Burkina Faso. In summary, this will be facilitated through the African Diaspora Development Institute (ADDI). President Ibrahim Traoré will receive a list of names from ADDI, and citizenship will be granted to these individuals by decree. The announcement was met with widespread applause and approval. I wholeheartedly welcome this initiative. As I face increasing challenges in my own country , which is struggling significantly, the prospect of moving to a progressive nation is becoming more appealing with each passing day.
